Easter this year happened to fall on my dad's birthday. The only time in his 52 years that Easter has been on his birthday. He did some research to see when the last time was that Easter happened to fall on April 24th and it was in 1859! Did you know Easter occurs the Sunday following the 1st full moon following the vernal equinox (which is the 1st day of spring). It can fall anywhere between March 22 to April 25, it will be on Clint's birthday in 2019 I believe, pretty interesting eh!
We had a great day and took some fun family pictures. I'm thankful my parents are close and able to celebrate the holidays with us. We had a wonderful Easter morning filled with fun things for the kids in their Easter baskets, followed by wonderful meetings at church and came home to yummy ham, deviled eggs, pretzel & macaroni salad and an Easter egg hunt... (well the hunting wasn't too tough, maybe next year when we actually have some bushes and trees to hide them in the hunting will be better.) Speaking of which, my trees and bushes should be here by the end of the week! YAY!
